Active Threads:[Job] Co-op Game Start - {Job} - A bit tight on money after preparing for the Russetton defense, Josh took on a contract with retro developer Shovelware Studios, who was porting and translating a 25-year-old, currently Japan-exclusive action RPG to a new console.
Jae Tsukuda was there to help test multiplayer gameplay.
Hibernation's End - {Journey} - Josh, leaving Russetton, ran into
Tyrus Black on the way out. The two shared stories of their fights against the giant Pokémon that attacked Russetton.
Two-Step Beginnings - {Journey} - Josh ran into a shy Coordinator by the name of
Andrew Markus Wynn and offered him help to get to Cerise City faster, thanks to his race-trained Sylveon and Flareon. The two had a lot more in common than initially thought...
Journey to Revive Fossils - {Journey} - On the way to Slate City, Josh ran into
Tetsu Asterite and
Ettie , two of the wildest people he had ever ran into. It was almost like they were better off in the wild than in a city...
Completed Threads:[Ride Training] Hooved Warm-Up - {Quest} - A little disgruntled at Ageos' regulations, Josh took his Ponyta, Ixion, for a quick spin around the Training Grounds' practice facility. While he had one minor slip-up, the ride overall went well.
[Ride Training] Fear Neither Light(ning) Nor Darkness - {Quest} - Josh took Twilight and Blinky to the same track he trained his Ponyta at. While Twilight was easy to control, directing the Jolteon was quite the struggle. Neither result was unexpected. Certifications in hand, he left the Training Grounds, confident he would be able to perform much better on a natural drag strip.
Calm Before the Snow - {Journey} - While traveling westward from Shire to Cerise, Josh ran into a familiar face,
Armand Leclair , and was impressed by the Absol his friend sat astride.
Vacant Gym - {Social} - Excited to take on his first Gym in Cerise City, Josh was met with disappointment when he found out the Gym was closed due to a lack of Leader.
Armand Leclair seemed equally disappointed. The two sat down outside the Gym and discussed their future plans.
South for the Winter - {Journey} - Josh headed south toward the badlands of Ageos, giving Blinky her first chance to run in the new region.
[Ride Training] You Can't Beat the Metal - {Quest} - Josh took Bladestorm to the Training Grounds' practice facility, ensuring the Skarmory would coordinate with her trainer. The two certified for flight together, but not before a sharp buck that left Josh reeling at the end of it!
Calm Before the Snow - {Journey} - After a meet-up outside Cerise's Gym, Josh and
Armand Leclair headed southwest on a riverside trail, headed southwest toward Roch Canyon and warmer weather.
[Ride Training] Before & After: Faerie Fox Fire - {Quest} - After three of his racing Eeveelutions cleared customs, Josh took them to the Training Grounds facility to practice their coordination. While his Sylveon and Flareon were easy to handle, his new Glaceon wouldn't so much as let Josh jump aboard!
Crossing Roch Canyon - {Journey} - At the halfway point between Cerise and Russetton, Josh ran into an old friend and one of his biggest fans on the race track,
Koa Leilani , a Ranger who played an integral role in his survival against a large battalion of Falinks that ambushed them both.
Town Defense - {Event} - Responding to the call to duty as a Trainer, Josh brought six of his best Pokémon to the Badlands south of Russetton, ready to repel unruly wild Pokémon attacking the town. He met an angry, arson-rife Charmeleon that was even taller than Josh when he sat aboard one of his Pokémon. He and
Armand Leclair would need to work together to not only save the lives of Russetton residents, but their own lives!
Finish the Job, Devlin...If You Can - {Discovery} - Josh was unsatisfied with simply driving the great big Charmeleon out of Russetton - in his eyes, it either needed to be captured or removed from the environment completely. Following its trail from the dusty town, he found its lair to be a small labyrinth carved out of the cliffs on the southeast end of the arid place. Within were red crystals that drove nearby Pokémon mad - was this linked to the attacks on the town? Either way, he managed to bag the Charmeleon for himself, but not without Blinky suffering a serious claw and leg injury that would put her on the DL for six weeks.
