That day, Tetsu decided to go on another adventure... but here's the difference. He's going on the evening. Why the evening even? Simple... He just want to train his sight and whatnot. There maybe also different kind of Pokemon around too! Wouldn't that be cool? For this night outing he decided... to bring different Pokemons than usual.
First is Riku of course, still the ever-loyal companion and partner. The second is Azalea. Azalea will do great in this sort of little light places, being part ghost and all... and plus it's close to water, she likes it. The third is Tourmaline the Beedrill. Tetsu had thought of asking other Pokemons, yet for some reason the Beedrill was assertive, asking him to bring her rather than the others... Well in itself it's fine. He can ride her later. The fourth would be Rutile. It's given because she's a wolf. She's not really excited being able to go at night like this, preferring dusk herself. He reasoning is that she prefer the light level of dusk... but with the moon shining down on them, at least it wasn't so dark and comfortable. The two last ones would be Citron the Joltik and... the one that's he's riding right now. A whooping 2.2 meter tall Charmeleon, Sphalerite. The fire on his tail acting like a beacon, but honestly it's better like this than getting lost in the dark.
These six, yeah... looks like all is great. As usual, Tetsu let the Joltik perch on his head, acting as a signal keeper while Riku and Rutile walks beside him. The rest stayed in their Pokeball. Azalea prefers to keep her presence not known until needed, and Tourmaline aren't that good with prolonged exposure to coldness. With that in mind, yeah these guys accompanies him.
"...I wonder what will appear tonight~"
<Something good, I hope> Riku muttered. Not like Tetsu would understand him much without Ettie, but eh...

The southernmost tip of Ageos was a warm badlands - a perfect place for Shalin to keep her bug-types in shape despite the long, cold winter to come. Her primitive-looking, yellow-and-tan outfit was comfortable in every season except winter. While the full moon made the evening sky bright enough to see by, it was still freezing cold. If she couldn't spend the entire trip to Roch Canyon in Caprice's saddle, she wouldn't even attempt it. Thankfully, though, the Ninetales radiated enough heat to keep her warm, provided she didn't run too fast. The biting wind from a Quick Attack would be dangerous enough to give the poor girl frostbite! The Roch River had frozen over completely in the clear and cold evening temperatures, which explained the eerie silence. The only thing she could hear was her mount's cantering footfalls. It didn't take long for Shalin to sight a young man who looked almost unhealthily muscular, a number of Pokémon congregating around him. "Not even a jacket? He'll freeze out here!" she said aloud. Worried for the young man's safety, she tugged on the Ninetales' right side, swerving the fire-type toward him. --- Tetsu Asterite NAME SPECIES LV EP Queen Zing Beedrill 11 3 Caprice Ninetales 13 3 Flit Yanma 8 3 Kiku Stunky 11 3 Levy Milotic 15 3{WC: 191} {PC: 1}

Hmmhmm...~
Tetsu hummed as Sphalerite moved forward, tail swishing. They seem to encounter something shining on the ground. Wow, talk about lucky. When it comes to leftover items from other trainers, the deal is founder keeper, unless it's important object of course. If it's potions or foods or something else, you may help yourself to it apparently. Because most of the potions or foods or berries tends to be something left behind because the owner probably encumbered by the number of item they're carrying. In that case, someone's trash is another man's treasure. And true enough, Tetsu tested the liquid inside just in case, sniffing it and sprayed a bit of the content to his finger. Yep, it's safe. Still good. He pocketed them. Four of it. Burn Heal apparently. The cooling liquid felt nice to the touch.
"I don't think we'll need as much Burn Heal with you here, but freebies are nice, right?" Tetsu commented at his team. They immediately agreed.
Just as he thought he was in the clear, there were someone coming closer... Citron tapped his head several times. Tetsu looked over to the direction the huge Joltik pointing at. A... Ninetales? Oh wow that's a rare ride!
"Oh hello there! Sorry, are these happened belong to you? I thought this makeshift campsite already unused!"
Riku shook his head, as if saying that she's not the one who's been using it. Whether she's intruder or not, that to be decided. Meanwhile Sphalerite trying to look tough, hoping that the newcomer isn't trying to pick fight with them. But if they do, well... being huge have its merits.

Caprice slid to a stop in front of the muscled, young man and reared quite high, starting Shalin a bit. "Easy, girl!" she quipped, her hold on the bright Pokémon's fur being tested. The Ninetales pulled such a sudden stop from nearly stepping on a Roselia leading its family across the makeshift campsite and into the tall grass on the other side. When she stood on four feet again, Shalin leaned around Caprice's head and could not believe what she saw. "H...h....hi!" Shalin stammered. First off, the young man was just rippling with muscle, rivaling that of powerful Fighting-type Pokémon such as Machamp. " Not...not as rare as yours!" He was astride a giant Charmeleon! That was something she'd never thought of riding before...but it looked fun, especially with how speedy fire Pokémon usually were. "I s...saw you in the c...cold with no j...jacket on...and got w...worried." She was constantly tripping over her words. Was this a challenger to her self-proclaimed title of Wildest Rider in Ageos? --- Tetsu Asterite{WC: 178} {PC: 2}

Hm? Why is this lady so shaky? Is it cold? Is it because his Pokemon's size? Tetsu tilted his head quizzically. Granted, Sphalerite have tons of scars on his body thanks to relentless attack from Skarmories when he first found him... but that aside, most of the wounds are healed, and the guy himself is still a sweetheart. Tetsu patted Sphalerite's head. "Don't worry about Ruby Jack here. He might have tons of scars on his body, but those are from his childhood. He's not as intimidating as people led to believe. Oh his actual name is Sphalerite..."
The fire lizard let out a purring noise as his trainer's touch pacified him. His demeanor relaxed some. "He used to be really small, though... I guess growth spurts happened in Pokemons too! Ahaha! Anyway, how can I help ya? It's quite late and cold isn't it? It's pretty nicely chilly for me though. It makes me feel a bit sleepy, but we're kind of out here, training and all that. Hoping to get my Pokemons stronger."
Hmmm, from the aura sight, he doesn't sense anything... anomalious... So he guess the lady is fine... Probably just being a bit scared because the big ol Sphalerite is puffing himself up too much. At least he's easened up already!

When both the rider and the Charmeleon seemed friendly enough, Shalin calmed down a bit, Caprice shifting her weight around a bit to try to help her relax. "Hey!" she called out to her Ninetales before addressing the traveling trainer. "I've ridden a lot of Pokémon before, and I've never seen anyone on a Charmeleon! That's really cool!" Sphalerite's name went straight over her head. "Mind if I call him Ruby Jack? That's a lot easier for me to remember."
Caprice shook her head as Shalin guided her to one side, so she could get a better look at how the Charmeleon was geared up. It looked like it was mostly outfitted to run on all fours? How unusual for a Charmeleon! This one must be really well trained. She took out Queen Zing's Poké Ball, tempted to release her but held off for now. "Oh, I forgot! I'm so bad at remembering introductions! I'm Shalin, wildest rider this side of Ageos! And this is Caprice," she gently pat her fire-type companion with her free hand. --- Tetsu Asterite{WC: 177} {PC: 3}

"It's OK, I know how mouthful is his name to remember, hahah!" Tetsu laughed. "But yeah, you can call him Ruby Jack. That's what miners often call Sphalerite anyway. Ruby Jack, Zinc Blende, Black-Jack... yeah you got it. He's not black though so I guess Ruby Jack is more to it. Lil' Jack is how I used to call him, but now he's not little anymore!"
Charmeleon for a ride is not common huh? "Yeah I thought so too, but the guy insist to carry me, so he goes all four like that, and well, you should see how he goes! He's still not that strong enough though... but if he's strong enough, maybe we can get tons faster! Don't you think so, bud?"
Sphalerite roared happily. "Attaboy! Heh. Right right, anyway, what are you up going down here at this late, lady? I guess from your introduction you're going to catch some rare Pokemon or something? Ah, right, I forgot. Name's Tetsu, Tetsu Asterite. Just someone who loves challenges and do their best with Pokemons... including extreme sports involving them if my Pokemon wanted to of course. Usually we got into crazy shenanigans, but it's all fun and we bonded strongly! Kind of boring introduction I know, heh heh."
<What part of that is boring? I'd be surprised if people didn't get yellow flag from that alone!> Riku retorted, but he can't really vocalize it...

"...Wow," Shalin replied, speechless for a bit. "Not gonna lie, I'm a bit...jealous. Makes me want to find one myself! It would make me unsure whether or not I'd want to evolve him!" The fire-type's roar was an indication of their strong bond. "I kinda want to see him run!" Caprice shook her head - did she really have to be so brazen around others like that? Naturally, Tetsu wanted to know what Shalin was up to after sundown like this. "Great, Tetsu! Nice easy and distinct name to remember!" She listened to his reasons for being out and about in the moonlight, interrupting periodically with a word or two but stopping herself until he was done. She couldn't help but let out a giggle. "We have a lot in common, it seems. Would you consider trick riding an extreme sport?" she asked Tetsu, a grin slowly forming on her face. She looked down at the Poké Balls containing Queen Zing and Flit, able to get a good look at the resting bugs through the transparent halves of their Poké Balls. Those were the two trickiest Pokémon she had...well, come to think of it, Caprice could get crazy too. She just didn't want anyone else on her back at all. --- Tetsu Asterite NAME SPECIES LV EP Queen Zing Beedrill 11 3 Caprice Ninetales 13 3 Flit Yanma 8 3 Kiku Stunky 11 3 Levy Milotic 15 3{WC: 212} {PC: 4}

Tetsu pats Sphalerite's head. "Well in that case, wanna have a go? Of course you gotta ride with me. He's not going to easily let anyone ride him, even if I asked. However, his huge size could defintely help him carry us both."
Should Shalin agreed, Tetsu patted his Charmeleon to signal him to prepare for extra weight. Being trained by Tetsu of course means he have more strength than run of the mill Charmeleon. Shalin would first notice that the saddle is shaped differently... there are no cushion for the back, which usually present on very fast Pokemons to prevent the Pokemon from tossing their rider backward. From how it looked, Tetsu rides Sphalerite like a rider would ride a race motorcycle. He immediately equipped a riding goggles.
"...Ready? Alright, let's move!"
First, the Charmeleon acted like a tease, slowly, slowly... he picks up the pace... Now he's running quite fast... but out of sudden... BOOM! From his tail, a blast of fire came out and he SHOT out from his position, leaping forward. Another BOOM as he sprinted forward, now continuous jet of flame just pouring out. He controlled the direction of his flame to swerve and turn, with every BOOM shook both rider. Tetsu on the other hand looking absolutely enjoying it as he grinned. Sphalerite however cannot use his flame continuously, and using it with Embers definitely is tasking for him. Tetsu would pat the Charmeleon after about several more bouts of turbo.
"Heh heh, you did great, bud. I don't want to tire you out however... Ah!"
It's seem their little exposition has caught attention of a mother and a child!
"Well hello there, ma'am, young one!"
The younger Buizel pointed at the Charmeleon, speaking mile a minute, while the mother seem to be wryly smiling. She chittered at Sphalerite, to which he returned positively with a roar.
"I wonder what they're talking about..." Tetsu muttered out loud.
Riku seem understand a lot, so he pointed at the young Buizel, then at Tetsu, then wagging two digits of his finger.
"Ah, he want to follow me? Oh, could it be that he wanted to be as fast as Sphalerite?"
Riku nodded. That's how it is.
"Hee~ Well in that case, how about you two coming with me then? I'm sure it'll be worrisome for your son to come with a stranger like that. So how about it? Would you two like to come with me?"

Shalin was starstruck when Tetsu revealed that Sphalerite could carry both of them. While there was no guard on the back of the fire-type's gear. It looked dangerous, but since when did that stop her? If anything, it would make the run more exciting! Tetsu was leaning so low on his Pokémon - a sign that the big Pokémon was faster than appearances suggested. Shalin, likewise, leaned as low as Tetsu would allow her to without laying on top of him. As embers flew from the Charmeleon's tail, Shalin knew what Tetsu was up to - Sphalerite was going to use fire attacks like jet fuel. "I'm excited to see what he can do!" she cried. UzftqGazp_While Tetsu was slow to get his mount going, the first explosion of tail fire got a yelp out of the guest rider, the sudden burst of speed knocking her back and forcing her to hold onto Sphalerite with both her hands, too. The force of each blast felt like an angry wild Pokémon trying to buck her off. She had been on a Pokémon that used gouts of fire to boost its speed, but this one added explosions into the mix. Finesse wouldn't help her as much, and her meager strength was starting to give out. Sphalerite added a swerve to the mix, nearly whipping his tail in the opposite direction and exploding the tail at his turn's apex, ripping Shalin from the saddle and rolling along the grasses at high speed. Thankfully, she was experienced in handling crash landings like this one, though she was unable to avoid an impact with a Psyduck. Not only did it kill her own speed, but it hurled the water-type backwards, all the way toward the half-frozen river. She stood up, shivering from the biting winds her forced dismount exposed her to. --- Tetsu Asterite NAME SPECIES LV EP Queen Zing Beedrill 11 3 Caprice Ninetales 13 3 Flit Yanma 8 3 Kiku Stunky 11 3 Levy Milotic 15 3{WC: 309} {PC: 5}

Oh God, he doesn't expect that Shalin was unable to handle that explosion... But he guess he should have known huh? Sphalerite quickly gave chase to the woman who got hurled so far, looking panicked while at it... And... ow, that's even worse than he thought... That's defintiely even worse than he thought considering not only Shalin hurled away so fast, but she hit a Psyduck on the way. The poor thing looked so shocked from the sharp pain hitting it. While Sphalerite checked on Shalin and warm her up, Tetsu checked up the Psyduck.
"Gosh sorry about that, you two... you especially..." Tetsu patted the duck Pokemon gently. "Really sorry about what happened just now... Did that surprise you?"
It definitely looks a bit frazzled, and his feathers are all puffed up, making him look like a feather ball. If the situation wasn't this dangerous, Tetsu would have laughed at the sillness of it all, but... no, he's really concerned about the safety of the poor guy. "...You know, uh... I'm a Pokemon Trainer. And well... I'd like to make up for my mistake after all... and if you have something that you want to do, would you like to come with me? If you need any training or anything like that..." he asked.
Poor Psyduck seriously... He hope that it won't leave any sort of bruise...
As for Shalin, how to say... there's currently a Charmeleon who's half in tears trying to apologize for his reckless speed boosting as he warmed her up.
