He reached down and picked up the Pokeball that his new Sentret willingly entered. He let them out and immediately it scampered up and clung to his back, already looking around. "Well now aren't you a vigilant one? Vigilant...Vigil! I think that's a good name for you." He said, while also answering Ettie's question on what to name him.
Koa smiled brightly at Ettie's enthusiasm and appreciation to his offer. Ettie was doing great on her own, but a little help in understanding the ways of the world would do her a lot of good if she wanted to interact with humans more. There were a lot of aspects to human society and he didn't want her to accidentally get in trouble or for someone to take advantage of her lack of knowledge.
He sighed and thought about Ettie's question in regards to sending the Ultra Beasts home "I'm sure it's being worked on, but tampering with that sort of thing comes with a lot of risks. I know a lot of people would be more than happy to send them home but it's a work in progress. Where they're from isn't a place we can just walk to and drop them off, unfortunately...a lot of information still isn't available to the public." He said, sad that it wasn't so simple for them.
Tetsu's new Pokemon, Moro, quickly grabbed everyone's attention. He smiled and approached the little Spinarak and waved to the new friend "Hello Moro! You've got yourself quite the trainer there. I think you two will get along just fine no matter where you two end up." He said encouragingly.
Koa smiled at what Tetsu and Ettie pointed out "You know you might have a point...Pokemon are very empathic, more so than some give them credit for. I believe there's an unseen bond between people and Pokemon that helps us find the Pokemon that we were truly meant to. A thread of fate that helps us get closer together. Same goes for people who become friends and loved ones as well."
Today was a very productive day for everyone here. New Pokemon, new friends, and plans to go to work as soon as they reach the next town, which seemed to be coming up soon. "We're closing in on Shire Town, I think." He said as the he and his new Sentret, Vigil, looked towards the horizon. "My first stop will definitely be the Pokemon Center to pick up some Pokemon...What I'll do next, I'm not entirely sure yet, but I'm glad I got the chance to meet everyone here today. I'll be in the area for a while so if either of you need anything or want to chat, I'd be more than happy to!"
