You Managed to Destroy a Crystal!
However, as you have noticed previously, there are several more crystals in this place. The destroyed crystal seem to release its strength. Something flows out of it, then back to the ground. The chunks loses its power; no longer pulsating in red. You felt your own clarity returned to yourself. Bladestorm however has yet to completely snapped out of it, albeit the destruction of the nearest crystal crystal now has made her less murderous and more to simply irritable.
You noticed that there are three other crystals of the same size... could you destroy all of them?

When the red crystal shattered, it felt like Josh had stepped into an air conditioned building after being outside in sauna-like conditions for hours. Bladestorm wasn't the same way - she looked like she could snap on Josh at any moment. There were four crystals in total. It seemed like he would have to use each one of his four remaining Pokémon on a different one.
With that, he withdrew the still-fuming Skarmory, replacing her with Illumina, Snacker, and Pinky. While they couldn't all exert the same level of physical force that Bladestorm did, perhaps Pokémon attacks would be good enough to dislodge the remaining red crystals from their places atop the trees. The northwest one had already been taken care of; from there, he had his Carvanha take the northeast; his Chinchou, the southeast; and finally, Pinky, the southwest. Josh's eyes shifted among the Quick Attacks, Bubble Beams, and Aqua Jets aimed at dislodging and shattering the emotion-heightening devices. While his thoughts were calm from not being in their immediate vicinity, he wondered how Blinky and Twilight were holding up. It had been a while...

You have destroyed all the crystals!
A breath of fresh air greeted you as both the sandstorm and the area no longer affected by the strange crystals. Your Pokemons feels a ton better, and seem to recedes back to their usual state. Almost as if their pent up emotions has completely spent. ...However, guess who'ss till not yet out of it yet? A blast of Dragon Rage would be the answer.
At the same time you would soon notice that the jamming signal on your Phone's connection to the server has been lifted. If you want to change anything (except the currently battling Pokemon) you can do it now!

Phew! It felt like someone turned on the air conditioning. Not only did it feel much more seasonable in the labyrinth, the sandstorm had subsided. There was one task left - bagging the Charmeleon he had come for. It seemed his phone had reconnected, as well. He had originally planned on having Bladestorm be used mostly for recon work, and certainly not for battling a fire Pokémon. He established a connection to the Pokémon Storage network and swapped out Bladestorm for a Pokémon that he had acquired recently before coming to Ageos: Meteos, an Aerodactyl. They had barely known each other - this would be their first battle with real stakes on the line. With the swap complete, he headed back to the north, forced to retreat around the corner due to a gout of royal purple flames headed his way. That was Dragon Rage.
Oh, NO.
"Twilight! Blinky!" Josh called out, sprinting into the room with the angry Charmeleon as soon as the flames passed. Both of them were unconscious, badly burned, and blood was beginning to pool underneath them. He recalled both of them and immediately sent out Meteos and Pinky to defend himself from another Dragon Rage that was surely headed his way. Hopefully, the one Quick Ball he brought with him would end this fight before it got any worse. He threw a fastball toward the angry lizard; if anything, it struggling to break out would buy him time for his Pokémon to start protecting him. The Charmeleon clearly was angry at Josh, not his Pokémon, and clearly wanted to make sure he did not walk out of the labyrinth alive.

Quick Ball is used on the Charmeleon. Josh's Dexterity score is +5.

Josh breathed a huge sigh of relief when the Charmeleon disappeared into his Quick Ball. The rest of his team was not going to be able to withstand a fight with such a strong Pokémon. Once he had secured his catch and sent it back to storage, he took a look at his two Pokémon. Both of them were in terrible shape; the racer let out a gasp after seeing the red blot underneath Twilight - there would be a stain on her white fur for quite some time. She would be going straight to the Pokémon Center as soon as they got back to Russetton.
Blinky was far, far worse off, as indicated by the piece of claw embedded in a dead tree in the corner of the clearing where the battle took place. All of her claws were broken into pieces. Even fully extended, they looked like mere stubs. This would probably require a medical procedure to fix, beyond what a Pokémon Center could normally offer. Even afterward, it would take weeks of recovery before Blinky would be able to run again.
Having relieved Bladestorm of duty, Josh also realized he had a problem - he hadn't bought tack for Meteos yet, and riding bareback on the rock-skinned dinosaur would be extremely uncomfortable. Seeing little alternative, he bundled up before releasing Pinky, his Sylveon, and climbing aboard the swift-footed fairy-type.

For better or worse it's seem your discovery has ended! For completing the discovery's goal, you got a Charmeleon you just caught along with it's Charizardite X! As a reward for completing the thread, 150 p and 1 rare candy will be send your way! This thread is therefore locked.
For your Charmeleon new tag will be given
New Tag: Reluctance of Obedience: This Pokemon is thankful for you for freeing it out of its rage. However, a residual distaste thanks to battling against you has led it to have a subconscious dislike toward you. While not outright hating you, it can't bring itself to be loyal to you yet... at least not yet.
Every three orders, this Pokemon have 40% chance of disobeying your order.
This Pokemon requires two training threads, or at least three threads where it battled on your side at least three times each to start being loyal with you.
