March 2021 Updates!
March means Spring is right around the corner, and with it some big changes here at World of Pokémon: Ageos!
The first big change is that Southwestern Ageos has been added to the map! It has a large number of new areas to RP in, and many new Pokémon previously not available on-site! The updated map will be viewable below.
To address the issue of less active players not being able to RP right away in the new region, all characters may choose to have Myrtle Outpost unlocked without needing to access it through posting on adjacent Routes. However, by doing so, you will forfeit the right to a Milestone Import for unlocking the town.
With that, the site Level Cap has increased to level 50! Note that per the Guidebook, Pokémon that evolve at a higher level that 50 will evolve at level 50 instead, and any three-stage Pokémon whose first stage evolves at a level higher than 40 will evolve at level 40 instead.
Second, Swarms have rotated! Swarms are where you can easily obtain a specific Pokémon, usually one that is Uncommon or Rare. Each Swarm lasts for one month, and can be accessed only if you otherwise have access to the Route they are on. March's Swarms will be Falinks on Route 3, and Togepi on the Ondor Plains! Please see the Swarm threads in their respective boards for more details.
Third, Rank 3 Quests have been added to the Notice Board. Remember, higher Class Rank means you can encounter higher-level Pokémon! All Rank 3 Quests have a prerequisite of 10 or more Reputation. More ways to raise Reputation will be added in the future, many of which become open upon reaching Rank 2. The details for Farmers' Rank 3 Quest are still being finalized; Farmers will have their Rank 3 Quest posted with next month's updates.
Fourth, the Dragon's Den has been added! It is atop a high peak to the east of Magnolia City, and can currently be accessed only by riding a Flight-Certified Pokémon. In the next large site update featuring Northeast Ageos, there will be a way to access it by land, but for now a flying Pokémon is required to reach it. The embargo on Dragon Pokémon has also been lifted, meaning Dragon Pokémon can be found. However, characters will not be able to acquire them until they complete certification by the Celeste Dragoons. This Quest can be undertaken at the Dragon's Den, and requires Rank 2 to take. Upon completion of the Quest, the character will be able to own and acquire Dragon Pokémon through normal means.
Finally, last month's vote regarding the Lottery has finished. The majority have agreed to leave the Lottery as is. Thank you for your feedback! Enjoy the expanded world of Ageos!
