{Current Quest} Quest: Ride Training Pokemon: Voyant the Absol {Current Party} - Level 5 | 3 Energy Ever since he arrived in Ageos, Armand was amazed at the vast lands and flora of the region by checking through the map from his GPS app and several pictures of the Ageos routes on the internet. Considering that his new job required him to travel around the region and his aim to challenge the gyms at the same time, he might as well try to train the new Pokemon that his grandfather gave him. However, two things troubled him. One was that Voyant was a Dark-type, which was something that he was uncomfortable to have on his team, and the second was that he was unable to read his mind due to its typing.
Regardless, he decided to go through the Training Grounds as he wore safety gear that it provided and geared his Absol with the mount before he jumped onto his back. After that, he took a good look at the obstacle course before he took a deep breath.
"Are you ready to go, Voyant?" The Disaster Pokemon stood silent for a few seconds before he nodded at him. "Alright, we should take it nice and slow. The last time I did this, I almost broke my leg when I tried to ride on Grandpa's Absol."

As they started the course, Absol slowly ran through the path with his eyes focused on the road. To Armand's surprise, not only he was able to avoid the obstructions and jumped several hurdles without breaking a sweat. Not only that, the speed he moved during the first run was enough for the trainer to hold onto the reins without slipping it away from his hands whenever Voyant jumped through the obstacles. Then as a few minutes have passed, Voyant managed to reach the end of the obstacle course, which gave him a sigh of relief.
"Alright, that was very good, Voyant. You really are the son of Grandpa's trusted mount." While he remained silent, the Dark-type huffed his chest as he showed a small smile to his trainer. "Now then, the only dilemma we have right now is to make sure I have to avoid falling during a normal speed. The last time I tried to do so almost landed me in the hospital. I'll make sure I won't let that happen again, especially for his sake."
Knowing what he said, Voyant then headed back at the starting point, and with Armand's signal after a few seconds, he rushed out as he started his second run in the said speed.

Like before, Voyant was able to pass through the obstructions without crashing onto them and jumped through the hurdles with grace. As for Armand, he tried to hang onto the reins in his attempt to avoid falling during his run. Eventually, his Dark-type continued running until he reached the finished line with his trainer still onto his back, much to his relief.
"Oh, Arceus... That was close," he said as he sighed in relief. "But I'm really impressed. Guess we don't need a third run now, huh?"
The Disaster Pokemon smiled again as he silently rubbed his head against his right hand.
"Alright. I think it's time we'll take our leave. Shall we?"
Voyant nodded in agreement before Armand returned the safety gear and they headed out from the training grounds.Word Count: 551 ·
