Harlequin City Gym
Introduction
An unfinished clearing to be an expansion to Harlequin City proper, the clearing turned into a fully-outdoor Gym as part of a conservation project. The Gym itself is a partially-cleared field with lots of trees and very tall grass that can be difficult for trainers to see over. The Leader, Lily Francis, the "Mistress of the Rainforest", is a young but brilliant entomologist and botanist, using Grass-type and Bug-type Pokémon in and out of battle.
Requirements
You must bring at least three Pokémon, all of which must be at least level 10.
The Pokémon you bring all must be within 10 levels of each other.
There are no specific size requirements.
You must be familiar with and follow the Official Battle rules.
Gym Trial
Lily's Gym Trial takes place during the battle itself. Her battle arena is filled with very tall patches of grass and a few trees. Tiny! and Small Pokémon generally find it easier to maneuver and hide within the brush, giving them the advantage against larger Pokémon that would be otherwise unable to see them. Using a Pokémon that is Average, Large, or Huge! will cause that battle's difficulty to increase by one step (Hard -> Very Hard, etc.)
The Battlefield
Lily's arena is a large clearing filled with trees and prairie grasses that are difficult to see through. While there are narrow paths where the grass is cut, as well as a small circle of cut grass in the center, most of the arena is covered with trees and tall grasses that trainers will have a difficult time seeing into. Trainers will do well to rely on their hearing to assess the battle!
