[Tetsu's Training Specialists cuts both WC requirement to 800 and both dicerolls to 80]
"How are you feeling, Tourmaline?" Tetsu asked the stoic Beedrill. His words and tenacity has won its allegiance, but the Beedrill itself is merely "submissive", not quite there yet in accepting that Tetsu is her trainer. Which means, their relationship at the moment is really strained in several ways. At least it's not hostile, but there are different kind of coldness that Tetsu expected from a traded Pokemons. Especially one who got traded without their consent. So that's why he's trying to break the ice between them. From giving the Beedrill berries, honey... nothing quite works... Tourmaline thought it just a simple "I'm treated well, this is fine". Basically, he has yet to quite get her respect yet. At the moment, he's just an 'oddball, strong human' in her mind. Therefore...
"...How about you teach me about your world, Tourmaline?"
Upon hearing that, the Beedrill buzzled questioningly. She doesn't get it. What sort of world is this boy is talking about?
"You're strong, that's something we can't deny. We can say that you're truly an Alpha Beedrill. But even then, I did defeat you, right?"
although slowly and feeling a bit vexed, the Beedril nodded. "...In that case, you know that's the testament of my strength... right? Of course as a trainer. And I did stop your spear. In that case, I have proven my strength as a human."
The Beedrill buzzed impatiently.
"No, I'm not trying rub salt on your wound or anything that crass... I'd like... for us to make peace. I have shown you my capability... and I know yours. But more than that we have yet to do anything else. That's why... won't you show me more what do you wish from me?"
...And thus, the Beedrill pensively thought of what to do, before it pointed its spear at a saddle.

The human was weird, that was what I thought. A wild Pokemon would be satisfied with submissiveness alone. Yet he did not ask it. I asked the one who fought my minion, another insect, the scythe-arm... Schizen was it? What does this child wish from me? I asked him thus. As if swallowing a particularly sour lime, he says "he wishes not your submissiveness, but for your heart to truly follow him because you desire it".
I wonder if it's an arrogance, or is it some kind of foolishness? While loyalty was indeed a good thing, asking for loyalty from more than several different Pokemons are another thing altogether. We're not playing house. On the world I lived, Pokemons ate Pokemon most of the times if there are no other foods. We understood that. Yet humans seem to be so keen to gather Pokemons and tell them to abandon their wild instinct.
Isn't that terribly conceited of them?
Yet this child, despite pulling me out from the wilderness, he still wishes to know me. How queer. And thus, I challenged him for a ride with me. I who are obedient to him will give him a handicap... that is, the saddle. Now, how would he respond?

Tetsu has agreed to the vespid's challenge. Once he sat on her saddle, she took off! The speed was honestly amazing. The buzzing could be muted thanks to his noise cancelling headphone but imagine riding without it! With a latest addition to the team on hand, Durandal the Honedge, Tetsu guided the vespid through several loops flawlessly.
"Huh, surprisingly we got quite the chemistry! Well then, hoops done, ride the air!"
Riding an updraft, the Beedrill let herself guided by her trainer. To her surprise, he seem to have quite the knack on controlling flight. Especially on the updraft training where they need to avoid obstacles while keep rising. He did not tell her to slow down. In fact, he let her go as fast as she wanted. He passed two of her test, but what about the last one? Can they fight with one body and mind?
The Beedrill flew toward the target range. She purposely flew even faster than before, through several branches. Yet, Tetsu seem to read her mind and slashes through branches deftly with the Honedge on hand.
I see... So this is my trainer. I thought it was crazy of him to stop my spear... but this is how he talk with his Pokemon... In that case, I shall answer to him.
The Pokemon and the human seem to have reached a new page in their bond..
