Demographic Information
Age: 16
Birthday: November 18th, 2004
Gender: Male (He/Them)
Orientation: Gay
Faction: Citizen
Class: Coordinator
Rank: 1
Occupation: N/A
Hometown: Shire Town, Ageos
Current Residence: Shire Town
Appearance Information
Height: 5'4" / 162.5cm
Build: Thinset, minimal muscle, light amounts of softness
Hair Color: White
Eye Color: Pinkish-Red
General Appearance:
Andrew is a relatively short boy at 5'4''. He is not very fit, having the slightest bit of chub, though he's otherwise more on the thin-set side; having little to no muscle on him. Being albinistic, he has pale skin, off-white hair, and light red eyes. His hair is styled in a bob, and is a little thick and wavy-curly - leading it to 'puff' up - especially when it's brushed. His features are relatively soft as well - with thin eyebrows and round eyes - and he has a small round beauty mark just under the right corner of his mouth
Being comfortable with femininity/masculinity, Andrew tends to vary widely in what he wears; wearing a mix of masculine and feminine clothing a lot of the time. His favored outfit is a hoodie, skirt, and leggings - or even a blouse and jeans - though he otherwise is not very picky in what he wears, as long as it is more on the modest side, and protects his sensitive skin from the sun. He tends to wear photochromic glasses with round rims, for both his sensitivity to light and farsightedness, and fingerless gloves. His favored colors are greens, blacks, browns, and reds
Aura:
His aura is a pale mix of gray/silver, pink, and blue; resulting in an almost stormy-periwinkle color typically. When on his own, with those he trusts, or with other pokemon, Andrew's aura tends to glow warmly and comfortingly, soft and cloudlike, almost like a pillow that others can rest against. When around things that pique his interest, it may even expand outwards to 'curl' around them! If approached by other people - typically strangers - however, his aura tends to retreat inwards; becoming more solid and jittery, as though even his aura is cowering and fidgeting with anxiety, or is otherwise acting as a shell.
Personality Information
Personality:
Andrew is a very nervous and shy soul, as far as first impressions go. Having severe social anxiety, it is very difficult – if not outright impossible – for him to talk to most people, excluding those that he is comfortable with. More often than not, he prefers to avoid such situations where he can – being willing to take others up on asking for a battle, but otherwise refusing to say much more than perhaps a few stammered words to those around him.
It is difficult to get him to open up as well, as a result; though he responds best to calm, patient, and/or kind individuals, whereas those who are more irritable, confrontational, or loud tend to make him clam up even harder.
If one is able to get Andrew out of his anxious shell, though, he can prove to be a clever and very kindhearted individual. He is highly empathetic to those he can relax around, and he can also prove to be a very loyal and affectionate friend to such individuals as well. On top of this, he can sometimes prove to have a somewhat sassy and witty side to those closest to him. As far as his cleverness goes, he is quick-witted, imaginative, and resourceful in a pinch; being able to adapt on the fly mid-contest, mid-battle, or even mid-game, and being quite creative with the things he makes. Though he might lack in agility or brawn, he more than makes up for it in his strategies and ideas.
However, though it takes effort and patience for humans to warm up to him… Andrew, surprisingly to some, is able to open right up to other pokemon..!
From a young age, Andrew has always had a passion and fascination with pokemon. Battles and contests are a great way for him to express himself without needing to necessarily worry about socializing, and he finds it quite easy to talk to pokemon as opposed to other people. He isn’t entirely sure why, if he’s honest, but pokemon tend to click for him in a way that other people don’t.
As a result of this passion, it isn’t uncommon to see Andrew talking to other pokemon as though they are people, feeling comfortable and at ease around them. He, additionally, enjoys pampering and spoiling any pokemon that he can befriend – be it his own pokemon, a wild pokemon, or even another trainer’s pokemon! This can oftentimes lead to him, amusingly enough, befriending a trainer’s pokemon before he even opens up to the trainer themself!
If he is comfortable around someone, however, you can expect him to ramble on about pokemon to that individual as well. Be it random fun facts or info he’s learned about his favorite pokemon, or even him simply going on about how his contests and his battles have been going, he can have a lot to talk about!
Overall though, he enjoys feeling productive and useful to some degree. He bounces between multiple various hobbies and crafts - but the primary ones that he specializes in are tinkering, sewing, arts and crafts, and cooking; these skills lending well to being independent while he’s by himself in the open world. When he’s with others, though… Even if he doesn’t speak a word to someone, he might still be grooming one of their pokemon, cooking dinner for everyone, or even sewing up torn clothing!
Additionally, he sometimes finds himself with self esteem issues; stemming from how he hates his more anxious tendencies. He wishes that he could push past his anxiety, and be able to talk to others without freezing up or stammering, but… Despite his best efforts, he oftentimes struggles with it still. Having others at his side, though – be it pokemon or close friends – is a comforting presence in his attempts to overcome his fears.
And finally, once he does manage to open up to someone, Andrew can prove to be a loyal and resourceful friend, who is eager to make those around him happy.
History:
Andrew lives in a quaint and simple household in Shire Town, living with his single mother. In growing up under his mother’s care, she was who taught him to be kindhearted and open minded, as well as being the one to teach him how to sew and cook. She, additionally, was the one who fostered his interest in knowledge and video games – providing him with whatever books he was interested in, as well as a simple computer with which to study and play on.
However, despite his happy home-life, Andrew did not catch as many breaks in school. Being a nerd whose face was oftentimes buried in books as opposed to being a jock, on top of weak social skills and his albinism making him stick out more, meant that he was oftentimes a target for bullying and teasing – something that made him increasingly anxious and awkward among others, especially when the school’s attempts to address these problems were insufficient.
Eventually, it would reach the point where his mother had to begin homeschooling him; Andrew refusing to leave the house out of pure anxiety. As a result of this, much of Andrew’s late childhood to mid-teen years were spent at home; being home schooled, studying on his own, as well as pursuing his interests in sewing, cooking, and video games.
Even though Andrew was able to get by like this, though… He, deep down, hated this side of him. He hated feeling like he couldn’t go outside on his own or talk to people; wanting to overcome it somehow, some way. Yet, despite this, he could never make the first step in overcoming his anxiety…
… At least, not until Inari and Tweetie came into the picture.
For his 15th birthday, Andrew would receive a pair of pokemon - a young Vulpix by the name of Inari, and a young Swablu by the name of Tweetie; his first two pokemon, and two pokemon that would live with him as something like emotional support pets. His mother had noticed Andrew’s interest in pokemon and coordinating, and she hoped that by giving him a couple pokemon of his own, this would be the push he needed to become comfortable with going outside.
And, indeed, it worked. Andrew would bond with the duo surprisingly easily, and the three would – as a result – quickly become inseparable. Not a day would pass without them at his sides in some way, helping to ease his anxieties and keep up on caring for himself, and he absolutely pampered them in return – regularly grooming them and giving plenty of treats and love. It was almost like the trio were in-sync, half the time!
It would be by Andrew’s 16th birthday, that the young man would decide to make his first big step – leaving home alongside Inari, into the great big world. Though the idea of talking to people still made him anxious, which he certainly wasn’t looking forward to… He feels a little more at ease, knowing that he won’t be alone in this.
Goals:
Being the shy but pokemon-loving soul that he is, Andrew wants to...
- Overcome his social anxiety in some way
- Take his first steps to becoming a proper Coordinator
- Make new friends, be they humans or pokemon.

One of the common sources for power users, Andrew has a natural gift for Aura - likely stemming from his father's side of the family. Much like how Andrew himself is a kind and gentle soul, his own skills trend towards more supportive skills, such as healing and empathy; the sort for those who only want to see those close to them safe, happy, and healthy.
Aura Mending (Reflavored Positive Energy Manipulation) (Cost: 4)
Andrew is able to help heal the wounds of other living beings by sharing portions of his own aura (or in other words, life force) with them, so as to replenish their own. However, though he is naturally gifted in aura, he does have his limits; and when overexerting himself in this regard, he is prone to developing aches in his joints - as well as general overall lethargy and fatigue - until given time to recover. As an Adept, he is able to heal up to 5 Energy total per thread, and expend 3 of this Energy to mend a Level 1 Injury.
