Quest: Surf TrainingAfter he managed to get his Lapras from customs, Armand didn't waste any time as he arrived at the training grounds near Cerise City. This time, he entered another facility where there were several massive pools with shallow water, each contained several features that focused on training a Pokemon to surf alongside a rider. He then equipped himself in the facility's' safety gear and released his Transport Pokemon into the second pool.
Participants: Armand Leclair, Melodie the Lapras (Surf Training)
"Sorry to keep you waiting, Melodie. How was the trip?" Armand asked as he equipped her with a safety mount.
"A bit rough, to be honest," a female voice boomed into Armand's head, which he was a bit unfazed at this. "Though you could have warned us about our predicament back home. I'm one step away to drench you with my Water Gun again."
He chuckled lightly as he noticed her annoyed glare at him. One advantage to his telepathy was his ability to understand his Pokemon except for Voyant, who was a Dark-type and not willing to share his thoughts for now.
"Well, enough about that. We should start your Surf Training, Melodie. Hope you didn't grow rusty from staying in your Poke Ball."
The Water/Ice-type slightly smirked before Armand hopped onto her back and started surfing through the pool.xVAGH5oup_

Without breaking her focus on the goal, the Transport Pokemon not only passed through the obstacles without any complications, but she managed to dodge the moving buoys floating in the water. As she did, Armand smiled at how she was able to breeze through the course with no problem. Eventually, they managed to reach the goal as Armand got off her back and sighed in relief.
"How was that, Armand?" Melodie declared as she puffed up her neck. "When it comes to swimming, I'm never rusty."
The trainer chuckled again and said, "Well, you showed me. At least it's a good idea for me to choose the second pool instead of the first one. But don't get all too confident. Since we're going beyond a route for this region, we have to endure more obstacles that might be a bit worse than a rock or a buoy." He then pointed at the third pool, which was a waving pool that simulated unsteady waters. "If you can conquer that pool, then I can consider this training done."
"Ah, a challenge, huh? Well, I'm not the type to give in a challenge from you, so I'll accept it."
With that, both of them transferred to the said pool and prepared themselves as the waving pool activated.p_

As she started swimming, Melodie found herself struggling to swim through the waving waters created by the pool as she tried to flap her fins forward. However, to Armand's surprise, she managed to push through as she continued to surf through the waters. This almost caused him to fall off from her back, which he managed to catch himself and hung on as she swam to the goal.
Once she did so, the Water/Ice-type sang happily as Armand jumped off her back again and watched her swim around in circles out of joy.
"M-Mon Dieu..." He gasped as he tried to catch his breath. "I guess I should have spoken too soon. That was great, Melodie!"
The blue Pokemon huffed again as Armand heard her thoughts. "I told you it was a breeze. No waters will ever stop me!"
"Well, as I said, don't get too cocky. But hopefully, we might able to get through Ageos no problem." Armand then stroke Melodie's head, much to her delight. "I'm counting on you as always, Melodie."
After that, Armand returned the safety gear and mount to the staff and returned his Lapras into her Poke Ball before he left the facilities.Word Count: 628
