Help Wanted
Jobs are one-thread tasks primarily revolving around gaining Pen quickly. While many of them may seem mundane, random events can put characters in unforeseen, and often amusing, positions while at work. You might make new friends as co-workers or even as clients. Even if characters haven't met each other in person, they can still meet through an advertisement, such as a flyer.
If you have questions, ask a staff member.
Job Rules
1) Each character is limited to one active General Job, one active Class Job, and one active Faction Job.
2) If you are doing a Job with a partner and your partner does not reply for two weeks, you may start a new Job in the same category. If the partner replies before you finish the new one, you may have both Jobs concurrently, but you may not start any new Jobs in that category until all of your non-Solo Jobs have gone two weeks without a reply.
3) If a Job thread goes without a reply for two months, it is assumed the characters have quit. Partial rewards are given at a Content Moderator's discretion.
4) Each Job will have a list of required information specific to that Job. That information, as well as general information required for all Jobs, must be listed in the first post. This can include which Job it is, who is working it, and what options you are choosing. The first post must also include your character ICly starting the job, as well as an initial Job roll using the [ roll ] command.
5) Jobs cannot be Open threads under any circumstances; all characters must be listed in the first post.
6) Word count is a requirement for every Job post, as most Jobs have a word count requirement.
7) When you want to receive your pay for the Job, indicate so in your OOC notes. You will not [ roll ] for this final post.
8) If you need to make any Skill roll(s), the final roll of your post is always your Job roll. This is to prevent dice manipulation in an attempt to rig results.
9) Once you have completed a new Job, you may immediately take on another Job. However, you may not re-apply for the exact same Job for one month.
____________________________________________________
General Instructions
In addition to Job-specific instructions, all Jobs will have some overarching rules:
First, all players on the Job make a post. At the end of each post, you must include a [ roll ] command. The result will be used to determine whether a random event occurs, as well as the severity of the random event. Generally speaking, a roll greater than 50 after applying relevant Skills is a success, and a roll 50 or less after applying relevant Skills will result in a random event. The lower the roll, the more impactful the random event should be. This is very important if you are going to Self-Mod a Job (if it's an option). If you are Self-Modding with two people on the job, it is recommended you alternate posting job results. All self-modded Job posts must be done on your OOC account.
After everyone has posted, if you are not Self-Modding your thread, Mod Call. A Content Moderator will post an outcome based on your roll(s), which you will react to in your next post. This process repeats until the minimum number of posts is met. You can keep going past the minimum if you wish, and you may receive more rewards depending on the Job. Just remember that the minimum is per player, not per thread; if two people take on a Job with a 5 post minimum, there will need to be 10 total posts between the players to be able to close the thread for rewards.

General Jobs

Pokémon Walking Always hiring; Anyone | Up to 3 characters Minimum 4 posts per character Difficulty: Varies
Those who frequently wander cities may be interested in walking others' Pokémon. Those who have full-time jobs, for instance, have limited time to ensure their Pokémon get proper exercise. Many of these people hire Pokémon walkers to do what they do not have time to do. Pokémon walkers help Pokémon get their needed exercise within city limits. Bird Pokémon may need to be flown instead of walk, and some Pokémon may want to go for a swim in a nearby creek instead. This Job is not Self-Moddable.
Instructions All posts have a 100 word-count minimum. Each character must make four posts to complete the Job.
Notes If a Pokémon is listed as having multiple numbers, they are owned by different people, and you can take on any number of them within the range. Otherwise, the Pokémon must all be taken on as a group. The highest number of the range is the limit you can take on per thread.
You will receive no rewards until you close the thread.
Options Current Pokémon to be walked: 1-3 Growlithe, 1-3 Pidgey (sky), 1-4 Mudkip (sea), 3 Scraggy, 2 Furfrou, 2 Glameow (extra difficult). | 2 options maximum
